Kumi and George tied the knot a couple of weeks ago at the beautiful First Congregational Church of Pasadena. These two are such a great couple who seemlessly planned their wedding on a shorter timeline than most. One of the first clues that these two were going to be a fun couple to work with was when they shared that their were going to create their wedding around the movie "Up", yes, that's right, Up! I love, love, love that movie and so I was hooked. They travel a lot and thought that it was only a perfect theme which I couldn't agree with more. From walking down the aisle to a live quartet playing the Up song "Married Life" to the adorable decor at their reception, Kumi and George really threw an amazingly beautiful wedding. I nearly cried watching Kumi walk up the aisle to that song. It was perfection and a special day that I won't forget.

McCormick Home Ranch, Camarillo
Abigail and Brian were a breeze to work with! I think Abigail may very well be the first bride that has never complained about her cheeks hurting from smiling so much on her wedding day because she is always smiling anyways. I love that! These two are as happy as can be and I rarely had to guide them because they were having such a great time with each other. I loved the rustic feel of this wedding. The McCormick Home Ranch is a great venue for weddings and I hope to get the opportunity to go back there again ;) Here are a few of my favorites ...

Here's a sweet little session to put a smile on your face. I'm really in love with the way this session came out and couldn't adore Kumi and George more! The bright balloons were a fun addition that I didn't expect and we definitely made the most of having these cheerful suckers around. Kind, sweet and easy equals this lovelyness below. Thank you Kumi and George for adding a new dash of inspiration to my week. xo

Gaby and Louie wanted to meet up at the beautifully elegant Bradbury building to start their engagement session. I fell in love with this place immediately. This building has amazing details which is something I can most definitely appreciate. Living in Orange County, I don't venture up to Los Angeles very often so I really had a great time walking around downtown and visiting several amazing areas where Gaby used to study for her degree. Gaby and Louie are such a nice couple and I loved trying something a little different for their engagement session. Walking around and getting to know them a little more was definitely a good time. Thank you for showing me around town!

From UCLA to Pacific Palisades to Malibu, Abigail and Brian laughed their way through the shoot, having a great time with the entire session. I really enjoyed getting to know them better and cruising around the beautiful sights of Los Angeles, which I don't get to do often. In fact, I have never been to UCLA and was thrilled with the beauty of the architecture as well as the couple within it :) Check out my favorites from their session here:

REDONDO BEACH and PALOS VERDES
Angela and Matt got married a couple of weeks ago and are such a great couple that I completely enjoyed capturing every moment of their day. We had such a fun and relaxed portrait session at the same spot we did their engagement session in Palos Verdes. Gorgeousness everywhere. Stay tuned for some of the reception shots and all of the beautiful details they worked so hard to create. :)

Lee and Greg are SUCH a great couple! They knew how to bring out the laughter in each other and not only did they have a good time with their engagement session, I did too! Growing up here in Southern California, the beach is a big part of their lives and so they decided to do their session at the beautiful beach. I truly had a fantastic time hanging out with these two and couldn't be happier with their session. Thanks Lee and Greg for making my job easy :) xo
Morgan and Bryson got married in Huntington Beach and had a beautiful wedding that expressed who they were to the T. Bryson, who is Hawaiian, definitely brought in the Hawaiian element into their planning. From the cute mini pineapples to the Hawaiian dancers, they did a fantastic job! Morgan's family business is Melissa's Produce which supply the best known restaurants throughout Southern California with the freshest produce. So, of course, they served the guests dinner using Melissa's produce and it was divine!
Thank you Morgan and Bryson for such a fun wedding to shoot. You guys are so much fun and I can't wait to work with you again in the future. xo
What a wonderfully sweet family the Billingsleas are! Visiting from Kansas for Andrew and Casey's wedding, see below, they wanted a family session at the beach while they were here. Such a great idea and a nice way to remember your trip by! Look at all their cuteness ...

Los Angeles, CA
Casey and Andrew got married at their home church in Burbank, two and a half weeks ago, and I couldn't get enough of their cheery disposition. There didn't seem to be any nerves going on, only cool, calm and excited! Andrew is from Kansas and so all of his family flew in for their wedding and it was so much fun to see the happiness flow through out the day. Such a sweet day for a sweet couple. Thank you guys for choosing Stephanie Ann Photography to capture your wedding. We had a wonderful time watching you say "I Do" ;)
THE CASINOSan Clemente, CA
Lindsay and Mike tied the knot a couple of weeks ago down in San Clemente at the fantastic Casino. This venue is so cool because it used to be a casino and restaurant where many of the big stars from the 30's and 40's would go to get away from the Hollywood craziness. Recently renovated and now open for weddings, it definitely has loads of charm. Lindsay and Mike were fun and laid back on their wedding day. With everything planned and implemented perfectly by Lindsay and Britt of Sugar Branch Events, the day unfolded without a hitch. I love, love, loved capturing their fun personalities and all of the little details that really showed their fun style. From the awesome wedding flowers and ceremony details to the beautiful dessert table by Pop Culture Desserts, I was swooning all night long.
