Laguna Beach, California

Last Saturday I headed down to the beach to take some pictures of the Porter family for one last family portrait before they move to North Carolina. I have been taking their family pictures for the last 5 years! From maternity through each child’s first year.  I cannot believe how fast time goes. Kathie is a great friend of mine and while I am extremely happy that they are moving to great new opportunities, I am also a little selfishly sad because she’s not going to be close enough for family dinners anymore :-(  It’s always such a bummer when good friends move away. Thankfully there is this new invention called a telephone that will be getting a lot more use. Oh, and there is Facebook, of course. Anyways, I absolutely love this family and always have such a great time taking their pictures. I can’t wait to see what great little children they continue to grow into. (even if its from afar)
