9.12.09 Jackie and Ryan

I had the great opportunity to fly up to San Francisco to shoot the wedding of Jackie and Ryan. While I had met Jackie many years ago through our old job, I had never had the chance to meet Ryan. Jackie is one of the sweetest and caring people I know and so I figured Ryan was going to be a great guy. Well, my instincts were correct! I couldn’t believe how great a couple they were. We had such a fantastic time driving around San Francisco shooting, that I decided I want to go up every month for a wedding. Hmmmm …. if only I could figure that one out.

These guys were like pro models! They would strike a pose and then strike another one and then another one. It was so great! They had their wedding at the Hotel Vitale, which is a very hip, urban style, boutique hotel which sits right next to the water overlooking the Bay Bridge. It was a great place for a wedding and just added to the ambiance of Jackie and Ryan’s romantic evening. There was so much love in the air that they had to break up the speeches into two segments. It was awesome! So many tears and SOOOOooo much laughter! I think that laughter is probably one of the most important aspects to any marriage. Gary and I laugh all of the time and it is so much fun! I can’t imagine a marriage without a good sense of humor. Jackie is probably one of the funniest people ever, usually making jokes that are inappropriate for me to share here Goo Jackie!!!

Jackie and Ryan - I had such a ball photographing your guys wedding and I truly hope that we can get together again soon! Thank you for having us be a part of your wedding day. There were so many great moments and laughs that I know you guys will be happy for a very, very, very long time!!!!!!!!
