Adriana & Jose
A couple of weeks ago I got to shoot Adriana and Jose’s wedding. It was a beautiful, authentic Mexican wedding with a full Spanish mass and a great mariachi band at the reception which equals a brilliant time to be had. Since pictures were so important to Adriana and Jose they scheduled a good two hours for us to do portraits in between the ceremony and reception and we definitely made the most of it! We met up at the Orange Circle and walked around using all of the circle’s urban chic charm
Adriana, who is definitely more on the quieter side really new how to strike a pose. I didn’t really have to guide them and it was awesome! Adriana is breathtakingly beautiful and Jose is completely hilarious! They are definitely a great match and balance each out. Check out just how amazing this beautiful couple is …

The Olson Family
Happy Birthday Barbie! Here is a fantastic family who wanted their portrait taken for Barbie’s big birthday. Barbie is turning 80 and the entire family got together for the celebration. We all met over at Irvine Park for the occasion and I definitely had a great time with them. Everyone is so nice and easy going which made for an easy session. Here are a few of my favorites …

Avery Lynn | One Week Old
Tracy, a.k.a. my best friend that I’ve known since the age of two, just had her first little baby and it was a beautiful little girl, named Avery. She is absolutely perfect in every way. She’s gorgeous and a great sleeper!!! I can’t believe how the years have gone by so fast. I remember talking about growing up and getting married and having kids with Tracy as we sat in our preschool classroom. So strange but also very cool!! I can honestly say that Tracy is the most content and peaceful I’ve ever seen her in our entire friendship. (that’s 30 years folks) It’s quite amazing what these little humans will do to our lives and how everything can change in an instant. Here is what a little love is …

Zeynep & Soda
About a 6 weeks ago I received an email from Zeynep explaining that she and her fiance, who are from Istanbul (yes, the Instanbul in Turkey!), were coming here to get married and wanted to have their portraits done in the beautiful Southern Californian landscapes. Of course I was all about it and couldn’t wait to meet Zeynep in person after all of the emailing we did. Not only were they wonderfully nice, but they were really enthusiastic about having their pictures taken in a more artistic nature than most photographers do in Instanbul (so, I was told;-) ). I am really looking forward to hearing how the rest of their trip went and to keep in touch with my new buddies. My fingers are crossed that I will get a chance to go visit Instanbul after hearing so many wonderful things about it over the years. Thank you Zeynep and Soda for finding me and being such a great pair to work with … big hugs and kisses!
